This session will equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge to recognize domestic violence signs in the workplace, financial abuse, understand how to respond appropriately, and access helpful resources. Learn how to create a safe and supportive environment for employees impacted by domestic violence.

Speaker(s): Patricia Varga, VP Donor and Community Relations. Patricia Varga brings over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development, and most recently, 15 years of non-profit experience. Her role at Esperanza involves managing donor stewardship, events, donor appeals, PR, marketing and social media. She partners with the CEO to bring domestic violence education to the community and key stakeholders like the Santa Fe Police Department, Mayor’s and DA’s offices. Ms. Varga is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard’s Publishing Program. When she is not working at Esperanza, she is the creative director for The Women with Wings Foundation and Create to Heal program. Ms. Varga is a published author and artist.
