Topic: Managing a Business

Let’s explore best practices for selling your work at a market

This Artist Think Tank session is an open forum to discuss your plans for selling your work at a market. Whether you’ve already taken pre-orders or are still fine-tuning your marketing strategies, there’s always more to learn about working smarter, not harder.

Join a supportive group of artists in an open forum where we’ll explore best practices for selling your art at markets and share insights on what’s working (and what’s not) as we prep for market season.

In this session, we’ll discuss everything from pricing and marketing to follow-ups and using tools like POS systems, checklists, and more. Whether you're fine-tuning your strategies or figuring out your next steps, there’s always something to learn from your peers. This is a great opportunity to share your experiences, ask questions, and get feedback on what could work better for your unique art business.

This Zoom space is for artists at all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros, to connect, collaborate, and have conversations about topics in the business-of-arts. This is your chance to meet your peers, at all levels of expertise, from across New Mexico.

Wendy Stein, Regional Manager of the WESST SFE Women's Business Center will be the facilitator.
