SFE 2025 Building Connection, Confidence, & Community for Entrepreneurs
IN-PERSON WORKSHOP
Taos, New Mexico at UNM-Taos Hive
This interactive and engaging class is designed for aspiring and established entrepreneurs looking to deepen their sense of connection, build unwavering confidence, and nurture a thriving community within their business ventures.
This workshop will be led by two local nonprofits and focused on empowering entrepreneurs to harness the power of relationships, self-assurance, and collective support for sustainable success.
Program:
- Workshops & Group Activities: Hands-on exercises to practice building connections and community within small groups.
- Networking Sessions: Structured opportunities for participants to meet and share ideas, challenges, and resources.
- Professional Panel & Nonprofit Leaders: Insights and wisdom from local entrepreneurs and nonprofit experts.

By the end of this class, participants will learn:
- Connection: How to network authentically, build strong professional relationships, and engage with others in a way that enriches your business.
- Confidence: Strategies to build inner confidence, embrace vulnerability, and strengthen your entrepreneurial mindset.
- Community: Practical steps to create a supportive environment around your business, from mentorship to peer collaboration, and how to give back to the community.

Speaker(s): Wendy Stein, Regional Manager WESST Santa Fe Northern New Mexico Women's Business Center. Wendy has spent most of her career as an entrepreneur, most recently as a copywriter. Prior, she worked in the fields of education, health and wellness, international development, and video game development. She is a Toastmaster, a Returned Peace Corps volunteer (Lesotho), an improvisor, a traveler, and is growing her skills as a wildlife/nature photographer. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art/Graphic Design from Michigan State University and a M.S. in Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
