SFE 2024 Product & Still Life Photography Seminar in Mora

This FREE, 2-part program is designed for Mora Summer Market participants, entrepreneurs, crafters, and bloggers. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned entrepreneur, this course is for you!

Part One

May 10, 2024 Time: 10AM - 2PM

This hands on workshop will teach you how to take or direct a professional to photograph your products. You will also receive assistance in providing a base portfolio for print and web product photos.

Learn to:

  • Address marketing needs regarding product photos
  • Utilizing basic lighting
  • Tips for using equipment (Light box, LED lights, backdrops, props & additional tools)
  • Basic photo composition regarding needs for web vs print
  • Basic editing regarding lighting, color correction and cropping

Part Two

June 2, 2024 Time: 1PM - 3 PM

During this workshop we will review/critique photos used for web and print, including photos taken after the first session. Address ideas for 'holes' in web photo needs.

Each participant will present a body of work in a gallery. They will have an opportunity to ask questions/suggestions on five different photos and request input on photos to keep and photos to re-shoot.

Speaker(s): Anita Moss has combined experience in product photography, portraiture, and weddings. Her unique skill set is the combination of product photography and graphic design. This allows her to make the most out of each photography session by visualizing the variety of marketing photography needs. She particularly enjoys giving her students extra tips to make their own sessions successful and encourages them to explore the creative process.
