The Artist Business Model Canvas (ABMC) is a visual tool designed to help artists and crafters develop a value proposition and structure a business model.

Creative and cultural producers such as artists and crafters often operate in a complex business environment where it is difficult to define the value proposition and a business model that takes into account non-financially driven motivations.

This seminar will introduce you to the ABMC and go through each section so that you have a clearer understanding of what value your business will generate through your arts and crafts.

Topics/points to be covered in webinar:

• What is an artist business model canvas (ABMC)?
• What the benefits are in using an ABMC
• Artistic identity, art products, and artistic services.
• Key partnerships, activities, resources and value proposition.
• Customer communication, defining your audience, and channels.
• Cost structures and revenue streams.
• Q&A

Participants will receive their own blank artist business model canvas template as well as online references to do a deeper dive into the topic.
