Mind-Body Self-Care Skills for the New Year

Easy self-care tools to use in coping with stress, anxiety, and working in isolation.

This course will teach three key mind-body skills in handling chronic stress related to pursuing a business. Using breathwork, meditation, and guided imagery, WESST clients will be able to create a safe space within themselves for self-care that will let them relax and focus on their well-being.

Topics/points to be covered in webinar:

  • Effects of Stress on Entrepreneurship and Creativity

  • Overview of Mind-Body Skills

  • Experiential Exercises • Breathwork • Meditation • Guided Imagery

  • Q&A

Participants will receive handouts on three types of mind-body skills (concentrative breathwork, meditation, and guided imagery) with resource sheet for a home practice.

Speaker(s): Sujata Dube, MA, is an educational consultant and personal coach. She teaches trauma-informed care practices through mind-body skills. Sujata loves supporting others to find their strengths and lead their most authentic life. She is now focused on building a successful art business, and likes to share her insights from her own research into this process of creating an art business. She enjoys meeting new people, exploring cultures, and creating art when she’s not teaching or coaching.

Please Note: THIS CLASS IS BEING OFFERED ONLINE. AN INTERNET CONNECTION AND A COMPUTER (or highly capable tablet-type device) ARE NECESSARY. Video conferencing instructions will be sent to you after you have registered for the class. This training class will be delivered in English.
