Join us for an informative in-person training in collaboration with Sandoval Economic Alliance, the Small Business Development Center at CNM, University of New Mexico Health Sciences Rio Rancho Campus, NM APEX Accelerator, and the New Mexico Economic Development Department. Located at 2600 College Blvd NE Rio Rancho, NM 87144.
Lunch will be provided by the UNM Health Sciences Rio Rancho Campus.
Are you ready to register and license your new business in New Mexico? This training will introduce you to steps to begin operating your business.
Join us to learn about:
- Deciding between a Sole Proprietorship (SP) and Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- How to obtain a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
- How to register your business with the NM Secretary of State (NM SOS)
- How to set up your NM Tax and Revenue account (Gross Receipts Tax)
- How to obtain your business license (Rio Rancho as our example)
If after this training you have any questions, we have resources to walk you through this process step by step through 1:1 counseling.
