Tue, Aug 25 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Topic: Business Accounting and Budget

Bookkeeping 201 is an advanced-beginner to early-intermediate training designed for entrepreneurs looking for a refresher on basic bookkeeping concepts, and want to strengthen their financial management systems. It is not a direct follow-on to Bookkeeping 101 as it provides some of the same fundamental information but with further details that get down into the weeds.

The course reviews vital first steps and understanding financial reports. It then focuses on the mechanics of maintaining accurate books over time and how to use budgeting as a tool in business operations and decision making. Participants review cash versus accrual accounting, refine their chart of accounts, and strengthen their understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger posting, and. The training emphasizes transaction discipline, monthly closeouts, and bank reconciliation—critical steps for producing reliable financial statements.

Bookkeeping 201 equips business owners to improve accuracy, increase financial confidence, and use their numbers strategically to support sustainable growth.
