Her Voice, Her Story is a dynamic speaker series presented by our very own Native Women Rising Program, designed to amplify the voices of Native women entrepreneurs and empower the next generation of women business leaders. Through candid conversations, inspiring journeys, and actionable insights, this series celebrates the resilience, innovation, and leadership of Native women who are shaping the future of business.

What to Expect: This session features Rhonda Lane, creator and owner of Pieced by Lane. Rhonda Lane is a Diné (Navajo) artist, entrepreneur, and silversmith from the Four Corners region. She is of the Foot Trails People, born for the Mountain Cove People. A proud wife and mother, Rhonda brings deep cultural roots and creative passion to her work as the founder of Pieced by Lane, a custom jewelry brand where "beauty meets inspiration". Launched in 2023 as an Etsy shop and expanded in 2024 with a dedicated website and podcast, Pieced by Lane specializes in handcrafted sterling silver jewelry that reflects Rhonda’s heritage, artistry, and entrepreneurial spirit. Each piece is custom made, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design to create meaningful, wearable art. Rhonda is also a strong advocate for community-based entrepreneurship. She credits local resources like WESST, San Juan College Enterprise Center, and the New Mexico Rainforest Tribal Entrepreneurship Program for helping her grow her business and network. Through her journey, she continues to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their creative dreams.
