Do you already make custom jewelry, decorative home items, or other handmade products for sale or gift-giving? If so, this course will teach you how to start an online shop for your unique line of handcrafted items using the Etsy marketspace.

Should I sell on Etsy? Etsy is a home for handmade/homemade and vintage goods. Handmade can mean a number of things, but it mainly means something that you have created or designed yourself.

What is Etsy? Etsy is a global online marketplace, where people come together to make, sell, buy, and collect unique handmade items. Etsy was created in 2005 as sort of an online craft fair — an ecommerce platform filled with handmade and vintage goods. Now a publicly traded company, as of 2018, Etsy has more than 60 million listings. If you are looking for something unique, you can find it on Etsy. If you are considering opening an Etsy shop, it must be because you have something you would like to sell.
