Calling all craft fair vendors!
Can you spot a fake craft event flyer? Do you use Facebook to search out crafting events? Do you know what to look for before you pay for booth space? In a 2022 survey performed by WIRED surveyed a 1,000 people in the US and found that 62 percent had encountered a scam on Facebook.
When you are looking into the next craft market space to sell your products the uptick of scams is only growing and expanding on Facebook and other social networks. The need to get your booth space is important and scammers play on the urgency to steal payments from vendors. Join us and learn how to breakdown a flyer or post and determine what is the fake and what is not.
