WNM 2022 The Power of Self Care for Women Business Owners

Oct

2022
Fri 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Topic: Managing a Business

Women business owners are generally overworked and underappreciated in the business world. Some 48% of women reported struggling with the high expectations of being a small business owner, and studies have shown that women are more prone to experiencing burnout than men.

In today’s new normal, women business owners need profound self-care, not just “regular” self-care. Regular self-care is a stereotypical routine: bubble baths, massages, and the occasional glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Women business owners need to go deeper with new self-care techniques; we will cover techniques that address self-care with wholistic approach to help you create a routine where we are putting your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing first.

None of us wants to reach a breaking point or burn out. Yet many of us fail to prioritize our self-care. Join us on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 as we discuss together, tips and tools to improve our self-care routines.

Join our guest speaker, Brittney Freer, Owner of Beyond Blessed, LLC. Brittney has enjoyed the ever-evolving practice of yoga, and enjoys discovering and teaching the overlapping connection between human anatomy, astrology & asanas. Brittney is excited to help others discover their love for yoga and self- care both on & off the mat. She has over a decade of experience working with yoga and fitness clients on a group & 1:1 basis, including managing fitness gyms, hosting workshops and drop-in classes. Brittney offers vinyasa-style classes, sessions & workshops that demonstrate the connection between breath & body movements, guiding you through transformative yoga sequences designed to combine mind, body & spirit, helping transform tension in the body, into energy moving freely through the aura.
