Santa Fe: The Impact of AI on Storytelling & Creatives
AI is changing how businesses create, communicate, and tell their stories. This interactive training explores how entrepreneurs and creatives can use AI as a collaborative tool to support their ideas while maintaining authenticity and their unique creative voice. Through real-world examples, exploration of today’s AI creative tools, and group discussion, participants will gain practical inspiration they can apply to their new or growing businesses.
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Identify current AI applications for visual content, text, and audio.
- Examine real-world examples of AI-supported creative work and consider applications for their own business.
- Explore a framework for approaching AI as a creative collaborator rather than simply a tool.
- Recognize key considerations related to intellectual property, ethics, and authenticity when using AI.
- Participate in an open discussion to share ideas, ask questions, and consider how AI may fit into their creative process.

Speaker(s): Eric Draper, Creative Industry Expert & Business Owner Eric Draper served as President George W Bush's chief White House photographer for the entire eight years of his presidency. Draper was named Special Assistant to the President, and is the first White House photographer to be named a commissioned officer to a U.S. president. Prior to joining the White House, Draper was West Regional Enterprise Photographer for the Associated Press. Draper has also worked as a staff photographer for The Seattle Times, the Pasadena Star-News and the Albuquerque Tribune. He is currently a freelance corporate, and editorial photographer based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where he lives with his wife and two dogs. He is an obsessive LA Laker fan.
