MBDA 2026 Pricing Your Products and Services
MBDA 2026 – Business Training Series
Wednesdays: September 23, & 30, October 7 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
This five-session business training series is designed to introduce prospective and existing small business owners to the core tools needed to build a sustainable business. Sessions may be taken as a full series or individually, depending on your needs.
The series walks participants through the fundamentals of business planning, pricing, marketing, and capital readiness with an emphasis on practical application. Each session builds on the previous one, helping entrepreneurs better understand how the different parts of their business fit together.
Session 2: Pricing Your Products and Services
Money is the engine of your business, but for a lot of us, it's also the part that can feel the most stressful or confusing. This course is here to help make the technical side of money more approachable.
By the time you're finished, you'll have a clear, plain-language understanding of how your business earns money, what it costs to make a sale, how to set a price you can stand behind, and how to know when your business starts to come out ahead.
Objectives:
- Tell the difference between revenue, costs, profit, and cash—and explain why each one matters.
- Figure out what it actually costs you to make one sale.
- Choose a pricing approach that fits your product, your customer, and your brand.
- Use prices to calculate your break-even point: the moment your business stops losing money.
Upcoming sessions in the series include:
Your Brand Identity
Building a Simple Marketing Plan
Getting Loan Ready
Participants will gain practical tools and guidance they can immediately apply to their business and use to strengthen or refine a realistic business plan.
