Workplace Safety and Workers' Compensation - Hosted by NMWCA

Do I Need Workers’ Comp? What Is It, and How Does It Work?

Join the New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration for a practical, plain-language overview of workers’ compensation for employers and small businesses. This session will explain what workers’ compensation is, who may need coverage, what to do if someone is injured at work, and where to go for help. The goal is to make the process easier to understand and help employers know their responsibilities before questions become problems.

This training is designed for business owners, employers, managers, HR staff, and anyone who wants to better understand New Mexico’s workers’ compensation system.
