From Idea to Plan: Your First Step with the Business Model Canvas

This virtual session introduces the Business Model Canvas as a practical starting point for turning your idea into a structured business concept. Designed for those in the idea phase or exploring a side gig, participants will learn how to clearly define their value proposition, identify target customers, and understand how their business will generate revenue and operate day to day. This training lays the foundation for future planning and helps bring clarity and direction to your business idea.

Objectives:

  • Understand the purpose and components of the Business Model Canvas
  • Define a clear value proposition
  • Identify target customers and customer segments
  • Outline potential revenue streams
  • Recognize key activities needed to operate the business
  • Begin organizing a business idea into a structured plan
  • Participants will gain practical tools and guidance they can immediately apply to their business and use to strengthen or refine a realistic business plan.
