THE Accelerator (Training Home Educators) is designed to support and uplift home-based child care providers who play a vital role in strengthening families, employers, and communities across New Mexico. This program recognizes providers as small business owners and essential contributors to the state’s child care system.
Through a collaborative partnership between WESST, Growing Up New Mexico (GUNM), and the Partnership for Community Action (PCA), THE Accelerator offers a comprehensive support network that includes business consulting, training, home-environment improvements, curriculum support, and opportunities to connect with peers and community resources.
The orientation session will provide an overview of the program structure, expectations, available resources, and key milestones, helping participants understand how to fully engage and benefit from THE Accelerator.
Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and language assistance services are available for limited English proficient individuals. Please notify Marcela Mendoza at 505-246-6913 when you register for the class, or no later than 24 hours prior to your class, so that WESST can make sure necessary accommodations are available. All programs and services are provided to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
