Part 1: First Steps to Becoming a Government Contractor

This session is the first part of a three-part series. Properly registering your company with state, city, and federal is required for eligibility to operate your business. Reality check: Understand and Plan that "Business is 100% Risk and the goal of this presentation and your attendance, and all that you do hereafter is aimed at mitigating that risk as much as possible. You will learn:

  • How and where to register your business.
  • How and where to register as an interested vendor-doing business with government entities.
  • A brief exploration of small business certifications programs.
