What to pay yourself can be one of the most difficult decisions an entrepreneurs makes. According to Payscale, U.S. small business owners make, on average, $70,300. However, many new business owners take no salary in the first years of running a business, while others take so much that they have trouble managing their business. In any case, paying yourself can be complicated, and with the compounding economic issues of the pandemic, paying yourself makes it even more challenging for when to pay yourself and how to pay yourself.
