Does the thought of going through your business financial statements give you anxiety? Have you ever been in a meeting with your accountant unsure of what the financial terms mean or not sure what to ask? If so, you’re not alone. Now more than ever it is imperative you understand the most important financial tools that will help your business succeed. Your financial statements tell a story about your business – do you know how that story gets written? This 3-sessions workshop will show you how financial statements are built, how to know the difference between profitability and liquidity (and why it matters) and provide tools for pricing for profit.

  • Session One (4/11/24): Break Even Analysis – Learn a simple tool for determining break-even for your business. Also learn how to use this tool to give you clues into your pricing strategies.

  • Session Two (4/16/24): Cash Flow Statement – Learn how to prepare a cash flow statement and learn why it is critical to manage your business. Understand why you might be showing a profit but have very little cash on hand.

  • Session Three (4/18/24): Intro to Financial Statements – Learn how the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet are built and what all the numbers and ratios mean to your business success. Understand how lenders will read your financial statements and what ratios they focus on.
