SERIES 3 - RATCHETING UP YOUR SALES. Intro to Marketing (2/28), Building a Brand (3/2), and Marketing in Action (3/7)

Session One (2/28/23) – Intro to Marketing – Offers an overview of marketing concepts, strategy and activities for small businesses, including customer persona development.

Session Two (3/2/23) – Building a Brand – Provides an introduction to marketing plans, advertising promotional mixes, and lays a foundation and method for building your brand, with a special focus on crafting an effective mission statement.

Session Three (3/7/23) – Marketing in Action – Focuses on developing an “elevator speech” for your business and implementing both web marketing and social media marketing strategies.

Tuesday February 28th , Thursday Mar. 2nd, and Tuesday, Mar. 7th 11:30am - 1:00pm

The Power Tools for Business Training Series is designed as a “mini-MBA” in three parts that can be taken together OR separately to introduce prospective and current small business owners to the specifics of running a small business. Session 3 represents a series of three classes that provide a foundation for understanding the branding andmarketing concepts required to launch a successful marketing plan for your small business.

Attendees are presented the basics of small business and then coached to use their new knowledge to write or improve a comprehensive, realistic business plan.

Topics Include: Introduction to Marketing, Customer Personas, Branding Concepts, Mission Statements, Elevator Pitches, Marketing Tactics, and brief overviews of Web Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
